The Long Count Calendar of the Ancient Mayans ends on Dec 21 2012. But, many people believe that the end of the world will occur on this date.
Some
people believe that a comet will hit the earth, others believe that a
devastating eartquake will destroy the planet whereas some believe that they
will see the aliens. In any case there are various theories about the end of
the world on this date. Some are sure that with the end of the Mayan count
calendar the world will enter an era of change and the upcoming prosperity, but
what is most probable is the fact that according to the Mayan calendar one era of counting time is ending and a new one is starting.
Even though NASA and science claim one thing, the others are
convinced that the end of the world will happen, so they have searched for
various places on the planet for which they belive, if they happen to be there
on December 21, they will survive this long awaited apocalyse. So many of them started
for the French village Bugarach. According to the latest information, police
has stopped them:
